Cleopatra Queen of the Nile – a top add-on

Most extensions will add a few items and missions and assume that fans of the original game will be pleased to play the same game more. With Cleopatra, BreakAway Games has not taken a road that simple. Cleopatra adds more of everything, from imports to monuments and makes the game more complex and interesting, without destroying the beauty of the original game. In the game will appear some problems, but most certainly the fans of the original game will enjoy this add-on.

As in Pharaoh, the missions are generally the same, you have to build the infrastructure needed to provide water to the citizens, food and luxuries that they ask. You will give them food from fishing, hunting or farming which you will distribute to markets in the city (build strong game strategies). You will have to build workshops for pottery, papyrus, beer and other useful goods, and you also have to fins the necessary raw materials. When you can’t produce them you will have to import them from other cities and also must produce material to export in return, to keep a positive rate of income.

You win a mission reaching certain ratings: prosperity, the quality of life in the city and the treasury, the kingdom, namely how well your kingdom is seen from other cities, the culture, the percentage of population with access to culture and of course the construction of spectacular monuments - access a spectacular game.

In this add-on you will see that they have added 2 new industries: construction of lamps and paint that you need to paint monuments that you will be required to do in a mission: namely to build Valley of the Kings.

There are new challenges in the game, you have to face wounds, a problem of epic proportions, rive of blood, locusts and frogs or storms that afflict you. Along all these, you will be attacked by mythical creatures that you can eliminate only with the help of the army. One things has not been remedied in the game – the workers have a super bad AI that will most certainly create problems during the game.

But Cleopatra is both more difficult and more complex than Pharaoh and makes the game to seem a new one. So you can not ask for more from this extension.
